Dozens of mothers breastfeeded their young children outside of the 5-star Claridge's Hotel in central London on Saturday, to protest against the lodging's decision to ask a customer to cover herself with a napkin when she also breastfed her child inside the premises.
Organised by the group 'Free to Feed' the 25 women present at the protest are calling for the hotel to change its attitude towards breastfeeding babies from being "archaic." One father supporting the protest said his wife was "verbally abused" by another passenger on board a first-class carriage train when she breastfed their child.
